Grantmaking
The Arkay Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications or proposals. All grants are initiated by the Foundation by issuing requests for proposals to selected organizations or by recommendations of directors who actively seek out the best organizations and programs working in the Foundation’s program focus area. The Board identifies potential grantees through participation in grantmakers networks, creating dialogue with experts on issues of interest and the research, and the experience and knowledge of its Board members.
